Equal parts performer, scholar, arranger, and coach, Sean Millman is a New York-based freelance drummer/percussionist and Ph.D. Candidate in Percussion Performance at NYU Steinhardt. His primary research interest is unified application of findings from expert performance, motor learning, and sport psychology toward actionable process of research-backed improvement for performing musicians. Sean teaches applied percussion for non-majors at NYU, and has performed with orchestras, theatre houses, and corporate & nonprofit events throughout NYC.
